Robotics / Mechanical Engineer (Temp/Contract Work)

Balboa Inspection and Maintenance is a provider of robotic pipe inspection services to oil and gas pipeline operators. We are looking for a Robotic/ Mechanical Engineer to assist with mechanical design of parts for our robotics.

We have need for full time mechanical engineers. This is a way to see if we like your work and if you like working for us. So if you are looking for a full time position and you are an amazing designer / mechanical engineer this could be the job for you!

MANDITORY

• You must be an amazing Mechanical engineer

• Be willing to work remote and check in via zoom during standard work hours (EST USA)

• You must be able to speak clear English

• You must have a copy of Solidworks 2023.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform mechanical design utilizing Solidworks.

• Knowledge of gears and gear ratios and how gear sets affect speed and torque

• Knowledge of electrical motors and their speed and torque ratings.

• Able to select motors and gearing combinations to accomplish speed and loading requirements.
