Balboa Inspection and Maintenance is a provider of Inline inspection services to oil and gas pipeline operators. We are looking for a Robotic/ Mechanical Engineer to assist with mechanical design of parts for our robotics.

MANDITORY

• You must be an amazing Mechanical engineer

• Be willing to work remote and check in via zoom during standard work hours (EST USA)

• YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK CLEAR ENGLISH.

• You must have a copy of Solidworks 2023.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform mechanical design utilizing Solidworks.

• Knowledge of gears and gear ratios and how gear sets affect speed and torque

• Knowledge of electrical motors and their speed and torque ratings.

• Able to select motors and gearing combinations to accomplish speed and loading requirements.

Project Overview

• Design a bolt on box that will pull a chain back in.

• Must pull a minimum of 1000kgf

• Uses motors already supplied

• Maximize off the shelf parts from Mcmaster-Carrr and other store located in USA or China
